![]() It shouldnt be too difficult to implement, I think. And not because they are ret4rded ) It would be a nice thing if this message pops up again when you press ESC, for example. I guess there are many people who missed the first message, just because they wanted to start playing ASAP. Luckily I didnt lose too much time in the tutorial, just because I wanted to see the new test track, so basically I accidentally managed to leave :) And I was expecting such a thing here too. Find classic, unique cars in the new Barn Find module and Junkyard module. I looked around of course, I saw all the machinery but I really wanted to start playing ASAP!īesides, as Doc said, most games have the option to skip the tutorials. Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 challenges players to repair, paint, tune and drive cars. I already had experience with CMS2015 and I did not expect any huge differences between both games. No, I just was too eager to finally start playing the game! And I just clicked "OK". But not because I cant read, or because Im too dumb to understand whats written. Before entering the track, choose the car you want to test. You can test both your cars and the cars of your customers. ![]() The test includes 4 stages: slalom, acceleration, bumpy ride and braking. This time you can actually drive the car, not just view the parts. To be honest, when I first launched the game, I missed this message (how to leave the tutorial) too. The Test Track is used to test the suspension elements during a short ride. Worse, it's totally avoidable.Īlthough I can understand both points of view, I have to agree with Doc. I want people playing, not having to come to the forum or searching or posting about how to get on with the game. I'd rather it be bullet proof, overly informative and not take any insight for granted. We're talking about a tutorial that isn't even smart enough to have a skip option here. Instead we post +1 to comments of people pointing at the dumb guy and typing post after post trying to justify a lazy and very non informative tutorial. More sales, more money, more interest, more life in the title, more DLC, more chance of a bigger, better sequel. Search for low mileage cars, fix them at 100 and sell them (or keep them, ofc). Youll get a bit variety in your game and earn some money. You can always go to barns if you have some 25k - 30k and are bored of doing jobs. The more people that can get into the game and enjoy the better. For now, in your case - keep doing jobs till u can fix frame. I don't understand why it's so difficult to wrap your head around making things accessible and easy at start up to facillitate an easy transition into enjoying the game instead of treating them like they're stupid or something. Words, phrases, terminology and such don't always mean the same things to others. I don't understand why it's such a problem for gamers to accept the fact we're not all the same people. The game takes for granted putting the cursor in places that trigger messages, it's not incredibly intuitive. Not saying it's perfect, but it's really hard to mess up Originally posted by Gollywog:It does all that in the pop ups when you go to those individual things though.
